Yacht Date

On the 4th of July I met a nice young fellow named Marco. He invited me on a yacht tour and really..how could I say no to a beautiful tour like this! It took us from the pier passed the Brooklyn Bridge, back towards the Statue of Liberty, and finally back to the pier. We got so close to the Statue of Liberty that the boat police started coming after our boat to tell us to go further back. Yep. Were badasses. Tryna catch us ridin' dirty even on a boat.

Anyways, I got to enjoy a relaxing boat ride, watched the sun set, got a little free food, and had some nice conversation for a change. Overall, fun night in NY...or at least the water surrounding it :)

P.S. This last picture is goofy as hell to me...if only i were on a cheesy reality show...It would be that introduction picture with "Gaby, age 20" in the bottom right hand corner... tell me that doesn't look like something in a reality TV show.

WOW...I suck.

I've realized how incredibly bad I am at posting... BUT here goes. These are few photos from this (already 2 months) journey to New York City. It's been one heck of a ride so far, and I kinda wished it would never come to an end :(

Perhaps I will share some background to some the pictures posted:

1. Silly rando picture of my 4th of July outfit that I will be waltzing around the Hamptons' sandy beaches in. Just consists of a white bustier top and a long, flow-y floral chiffon skirt. Can't wait to bust out the sparklers and celebrate good ol' Independence day in that! woooo.
2. Spotted near the World Trade Center memorial. Just a couple-o-fire fighters taking a break from saving lives. nbd.
3. New addiction...I mean addition to the wrist family. A bracelet with one gold skull, filled with jewels. Those street vendors know how to sell me stuff. I secretly love every piece of jewelry they try to sell me. OH and they are obviously made of REAL DIAMONDS...ha.
4. RIP leather pants: We had a good run, but couldn't quite win the race :( Jess got the last  wear of those suckers. At least they ripped AFTER a long night of dancing, sitting and other difficult things to do in leather pants.
5. Picture of me...*couph*conceited much? nice. On to the next..
6. With the 4th of July right around the corner, It's only necessary to take a picture of the Amurrican flag dancing in the wind.
7. Chicago city from miles above. Missin' the midwest.
8. My new Victoria's Secret swim suit! Finally one that makes me feel decently attractive. Guess it calls for a photo :)
